Imperial have pulled out of Games Clash Masters to focus on StarSeries i-League Season 6 and have been replaced by Fragsters, the event's organisers have revealed.
Imperial, who were supposed to be one of the three invited sides at the Polish event, have withdrawn from the $90,000 tournament to focus on StarSeries i-League Season 6, which will have a total of $300,000 on the line.
Fragsters, who will also attend StarSeries, have been placed in Group B, along with x-kom, AGO, and Red Reserve, with their first match pitting them against Mateusz "TOAO" Zawistowski's men.
Currently ranked 30th in the world, Fragsters were last seen at DreamHack Open Valencia, where they reached the semi-finals before losing to eventual champions North 0-2.
The Games Clash Masters will take place from September 28-30 at the Gdynia Arena and feature eight teams, with Kinguin and HEROIC being the only sides currently in the top 20. The tournament will begin with a GSL group stage, followed by the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.
Here is how the groups look with Fragsters' addition:
